J’ai vu ça et je suis pas sûr d’avoir tout bien compris ! Pouvez-vous m’éclairer ?

sponsor, shut down.

Ce passage est issu de ce texte qui dit que la rumeur du retour de Villopoto en Outdoor est fausse.

Rumors over here had Ryan Villopoto packing

up stakes at his GP effort and racing the USA

nationals for his Monster Kawasaki team but

that’s not going to happen. The thinking was

with Kawasaki firing Davi Millsaps, there’s an

open spot on the team, the GP plan isn’t working

out the way many people thought it would

and maybe we would see Villopoto back here.

As we said, it’s not going to happen but make

no mistake about it, there were some talks that

apparently Monster Energy, the teams main

sponsor, shut down. RV’s tailbone injury is going

to keep him away for another three weeks or so

(which would eliminate him from any shot at the

USA title) and he’ll be back at the Grand Prix’s

when ready but there was some talks about

seeing if he would be interested in coming back

home to help Kawasaki out.

Ce n’est pas à son contrat avec Kawa que Monster a mis fin, mais aux rumeurs de retour de Villo pour l’outdoor. That’s all.

Ca dit précisément qu’il y a très certainement eu des discussions sur le sujet d’un éventuel retour, mais que Monster a coupé court…

Mais bon, championnat plié d’un côté, pourquoi ne pas tenter de l’autre, ça reste du business…

Ou comment récupérer in extremis (et sans doute pour pas très cher…) un titre MXGP qui aurait dû "revenir" à l’origine à un certain RV2…

Tout ça le week-end où RF devrait logiquement sabrer le champagne sur le podium: sont vraiment trop forts, chez Monster…

 Pourquoi pour pas très cher ? Sont quand même pas fous chez Rinaldi, un sponsor qui t’a lâché auparavant et qui revient la queue entre les jambes quand le titre approche ça doit mériter une belle négociation, non ?

Chez KRT ils espèrent récupérer Badoit pour l’an prochain, moins rock’n roll que Monster ou Red Bull, mais plus glamour.
