Et ben si :
If you think Doug Henry doesn’t plan on racing this weekends Southwick National you obviously don’t know him well enough. We just spent the afternoon helping Henry rebuild his engine for Southwick all while conducting a lengthy interview with him for an upcoming issue of MXA.
We’ll only throw out a few spoilers, but he had some interesting things to say about the lengths he’d go to keep the number 19 plate. Here’s just a small piece. « If I don’t get in the top twenty at Southwick I’ll race Unadilla and if I don’t get it there I’ll race Millville, after that I’ll go to Binghamton and Steel City if necessary. »
It sounds like Henry is a very determined 34 year old ex-champ. We’ll put our money on the Henry getting his points this weekend. Last year he led with almost no practice and actually passed Carmichael for the lead. This year he’s been practicing a little, so watch out.
Go riton go !
