Vraiment, le gars te déçoit rarement, et jamais bien longtemps… J’ai trop hâte de voir ce qu’il va réussir sur une énième nouvelle moto!

Il ne te faut pas grand chose pour jubiler ! Et en effet, sur la verte, ça risque d’être encore plus drôle…

Si sa roue avant s’est bloquée occasionnant la chute, c’est un peu la saison maudite. Le coup des lunettes étant également peu banal.

Je me suis planté hier sur la place de Dylan que j’ai mis 9e..en fait il fini 7e en première manche …du fait du déclassement de JETTLAW, et il a dû gagner une place à la fin ..mi bad 😝

Cà peut effectivement avoir du sens qu’il l’aie utilisé au maximum, faute de frein arrière, en fait…

“After inspecting the bike Saturday evening, and reviewing the bike data, we now have a clearer understanding of what led up to Chase’s crash in moto two at Ironman, and I want to clarify that it was neither rider nor mechanic error.

Initially, we thought it was a front brake issue, but we now know that debris got into the rear brake system, preventing Chase from activating the rear brake. This forced him to reduce all his speed using only the front brake. We can also see from the bike data that he left the jump on this lap at a much higher rate of speed than at any other lap during the day.

This issue, in turn, caused Chase to crash. The bike landed on the right side first, which then caused the front brake lever to get packed with mud and activate. Chase was unable to continue because of this.

We will actively look for a solution to prevent this from happening again, but as we know, in racing, motocross is tough on the equipment, and when you add the speed and intensity that our riders race at, this exaggerates everything. This was disappointing for both Chase and our team, as well as the fans.”

Du coup, après l’hilarante vidéo d’Harrison (« J’ai pas vu la chute et pas encore parlé avec Chase, mais ce n’est pas un problème mécanique ») et la parution de ce communiqué grotesquement bidon auquel un enfant de cinq ans ne croirait pas, Chase est en grève jusqu’au SMX -parce que là, faut pas déconner, y a des ronds à prendre, même sur cette saloperie de KTM.

Heureusement, le ridicule n’a jamais tué personne…

Difficile de mieux résumer le gategate que Jason Thomas.

« First, anyone thinking Jett was trying to jump the gate needs to check themselves into the local psyche ward. He said he saw someone flinch (maybe Jeremy Hand?) and he jumped. This happens all the time. He ended up hitting the gate and then pulled back as the gate failed and got all sorts of squirrelly. He was mid-pack at best leaving the line and was 21st at best guess on the first lap. It was certainly not intentional to hit or “jump” the gate. He’s arguably the best starter since Mike Alessi and logic alone (plus history) would tell you he wouldn’t attempt something that foolish. So, this was, logically, a mistake.

As to the penalty, I understand the rule is old and also in absolute terms. That seems like a bad idea in concept but that’s an argument for officials to make. What I don’t agree with is that this was viewed as an attempt to gain an advantage or jump the gate. This was an unintentional mistake and him “being ahead of the field” is laughable when you look at the start as a whole. No one in their right mind would say that was any sort of advantage, intentional or not, that should be penalized by an entire lap. Read that again if you didn’t understand me the first time. Absolute nonsense. The rule is the rule but, in this instance, its enforcement is a farce. »
